The story follows sixteen-year-old Ama Serwaa Adomako, who is eager to spend her holidays with her cousins and her best friend after five years apart. However, things take a turn when she has a falling out with them. Amidst this conflict, she befriends her neighbors, brothers Paapa and Owura Amofa.
To her surprise, the wealthy and stylish Owura chooses her to be his girlfriend. However, Serwaa soon discovers that Owura is not the person he appears to be, leading her to face difficult questions about love and whether it truly has the power to change a person.
